Introduction and application of plasma solid waste gas furnace

Plasma solid waste gas furnace is an advanced pyrolysis incineration equipment that uses high-temperature plasma technology to treat solid waste (such as industrial waste slag, hazardous waste, organic solid waste, etc.). The furnace generates a high-temperature environment of more than 3000℃ through a plasma arc source, which can completely crack the organic components in the waste into simple gases, and melt and solidify the inorganic matter to achieve harmless, reduced and resource-based treatment. This technology has the characteristics of high treatment efficiency, low pollution emissions and strong adaptability. It is widely used in environmental protection, metallurgy, chemical industry, military industry and nuclear waste treatment.
Working principle
The working process of plasma solid waste gas furnace is as follows:
High-temperature plasma generation: Plasma generator (such as DC non-transferred arc, transferred arc or inductive coupling, etc.) ionizes gas (usually argon, nitrogen or air) under high voltage to produce a high-temperature plasma jet.
Waste pyrolysis and melting: Solid waste is rapidly pyrolyzed in the high-temperature environment in the furnace, organic matter is cracked into combustible gases such as CO and H₂, and inorganic matter is melted to form glassy slag.
Tail gas purification: The generated waste gas is subjected to multiple purification treatments such as rapid cooling, spraying, adsorption and filtration to remove harmful components (such as dioxins, acidic gases, heavy metals, etc.) to ensure that the emission meets the standards.
Slag solidification: The slag cooled after melting has a glassy structure, high stability, and is not easy to leach heavy metals. It can be safely landfilled or used as a building material.
Main structural components
Furnace structure:
Made of high-temperature refractory materials and thermal insulation layers, it has good corrosion resistance and erosion resistance, and can withstand high temperatures of about 3000℃ for a long time.

Plasma generator:
The core component is responsible for generating high-temperature energy, and can choose technologies such as DC transfer arc, non-transfer arc or radio frequency.

Feeding system:
Equipped with a sealed feeding device to ensure safe feeding in a high-temperature and closed environment to avoid leakage of pollutants.

Molten slag discharge system:
A water-cooled slag trough or a mechanical slag scraping device is used to ensure continuous and stable slag discharge.
