Quenching Machine

The heated leaf spring is quickly immersed in oil or other cooling medium for rapid cooling to achieve the quenching effect. This process utilizes the quenching principle of steel, that is, by heating to above the critical temperature, keeping it warm for a period of time and then rapidly cooling it to achieve martensite or bainite transformation, thereby improving the hardness and strength of the steel.

For long and thin parts, such as automotive leaf springs, quenching machine equipment is often used for quenching such parts. Taking the leaf spring as an example, after it is placed in the fixture and pressed into shape, it is immersed in oil and swung to achieve a given cooling time. After completion, the relay acts to reset the fixture, and the quenched leaf spring is pushed onto the conveyor belt through the travel switch and the stripping cylinder to complete the entire quenching process.
